verando® boards are made of an innovative material which consists mainly of rice husks. In nature, the rice grain is protected from external influences, especially moisture. The harvesting of rice produces large quantities of rice husks that are unsuitable for food. Together with rock salt and a small amount of mineral oil, they become a highly developed compound.

 

The extraordinary compound is not just a substitute, but a material that surprises even experts. The natural optical appearance and pleasant feel of verando® can therefore be considered as an evolution of wood and it is processed in the same way, e. g. sawing, drilling, milling, lashing – no problem at all.

verando® boards are not only easy to clean, but also UV-resistant which was confirmed in a long-term test of 2,000 hours to xenon radiation exposure. In comparison, classic wood types and WPC showed clear signs of weathering.

verando® decking boards can be processed like wood and are produced like plastic. The entire production process for verando® takes place within the company.
State-of-the-art precision systems extrude the profile and via a highly automated grinding system the product receives its wood-like grain.

 All accessories such as aluminumprofiles and injection moulded parts are produced according to the latest quality standards.
